Troy and Heather Cady

Troy and Heather Cady, along with their children Meaghan and Nicolas, arrived in Madrid in February 2002 to lead Mountainview International Church.

Troy grew up in the United States. He graduated from Northwestern College in St.Paul in 1992, pursuing an academic degree in Ministries while immersing himself in the Dramatic Arts through acting, singing, dancing, directing and writing. Heather is a Canadian who grew up in Ecuador, spending most of her childhood in Quito as the daughter of missionaries. She also attended Northwestern College, receiving a degree in Journalism.

After getting married in 1991, they moved to Illinois so that Troy could pursue a Master's in Church History, all the while looking for an organization to serve with that would want them to go overseas to present the good news of forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ using drama and other skills God has given them.

In 1998, they arrived in Europe to help Christian Associates International do just that. They spent their first three months helping the Riverside International Church in Lisbon, Portugal while receiving training and then moved to Barcelona where they served from May 1998 through May 2001 with The International Church of Barcelona.

While there, they enjoyed doing various things for the church like: drama, speaking, teaching in small groups, designing multimedia presentations, and raising up others to own the ministry of the church.

After moving to Madrid and leading a team to establish Mountainview International Church (2001-2005), Troy and Heather felt called to move into a new role and are now focusing full-time as the visionary leaders in the development of Oasis in the centre of Madrid.

Kelly Wills

Kelly Wills grew up in the mountains of Harlan, Kentucky, in a town small enough that directions to her house were “the yellow house with the purple tree.” She moved to Northeast Tennessee to attend East Tennessee State University, where she graduated with a degree in Spanish and a minor in piano performance.

In January 2004, Kelly moved to Madrid, Spain, working with a campus ministry planting organization called Impact Ministries. Her first six months in Madrid were spent as an intern with Mountainview, and after the internship she continued her involvement with the church. After over a year in Madrid, Kelly made the decision in the spring of 2005 to switch to Christian Associates’ staff in order to officially join Oasis.

Kelly is focusing on community group development, leadership development, planning for the monthly Oasis gathering, and creative arts ministry. In addition to this, Kelly loves to hang around and open up her home for people to come visit, cook, eat, sleep, paint, sculpt, etc.

Kelly used to have a cactus named Jeremy. She watered it for a year without being aware that its flowers were glued on. She is an artist and not a scientist.

Jay and Carolyn Web.jpg

Jay and Carolyn Sensenig

Jay is a native of the Pennsylvania "Dutch" area centered in Lancaster, Pa. He came to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior at 9 years of age, but only during his teen years did he realize that Jesus is to be Lord of his life! From that moment on, God began to direct him to "present his life as a living sacrifice." After completing a B.S. in Education from Millersville University in Pa. he moved south to complete a Masters in Biblical Education at Columbia International University before he and Carolyn left for missionary service in Venezuela.

After 15 years in Venezuela and upon completion of a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at Michigan State University, he and Carolyn with their three children, JoyAnn, Janell, and Joel returned to Columbia International University where Jay served as Associate Dean of Ministry Skills Development for 11 years.

He and Carolyn worked for 7 years to start a new church among the business and professional people who live in one of the up-scale sections of Mexico City. Through their efforts and by God's grace, five Bible studies are flourishing and a new community of dynamic faith is being established there.

Carolyn is also a native of the Lancaster, Pa. area. She grew up in a Christian home and accepted Godís gift of salvation while seeing a Billy Graham film with her father. Jay and Carolyn lived in the same home town and went to school together from first grade. Their first date was a senior graduation banquet from high school. After Carolyn completed nursing school at Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, Jay and Carolyn studied together at Columbia International University. Carolyn completed a B.S. in Nursing at Messiah College before beginning the first phase of missionary service in Venezuela. After 15 years in Venezuela and now with three children, she returned to Columbia where she worked as Director of Staff Development at Byrnes Medical Center. At the same time, she completed a Masters in Education at Columbia International University. She has recently completed her dissertation on Team Leader Management Style for her Ph.D. from Newport University, Newport Beach, CA. She is an extremely "crafty wife" and used those skills frequently to attract women to study the Bible in Mexico City.

Jay and Carolyn have three adult children: JoyAnn, married to Troy Johnson, who has two sons, Jeremy Kyle (9) and Benjamin Philip (5). A daughter, Mikayla Noelle, was stillborn two years ago. Janell Evonne, married to Vernon Salter, has a son Gabriel Connor (7), and two daughters, Elliana Charice (4), and Tirzah Michaelyn (1); Joel Keith, married to Courtney Hatch, has four children, Jana Clae (6); Madelyn Herr (4); Elijah Joel (2); and Sophia Caren (8 months).
